Terms of Service
Using TP VPN means accepting this agreement. It sets out what the Service is, the rules for accounts, subscriptions and auto-renewal, refunds, the limits of our liability, and how disputes are resolved.
1. Acceptance
These Terms form an agreement between you and TP VPN LLC (registered office: registered addresspendiente) regarding the TP VPN service. By creating an account, downloading a client or using the Service you confirm you have read and accept these Terms together with our Privacy Policy, Subscription Terms, Acceptable and Fair Use Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you accept these Terms on behalf of a company or other organisation, you represent that you are authorised to bind it, and "you" then refers to that organisation as well.
2. What the Service is
TP VPN is an encrypted networking service. The client establishes a WireGuard tunnel to one of our nodes, protecting your traffic on untrusted networks such as public Wi-Fi, reducing what intermediaries can observe, and offering routes tuned for different kinds of use.
Three things we state plainly
- We apply no artificial speed tiers, but there is a fair-use threshold (FUP). Per-plan thresholds are on the pricing page. Past the threshold your connection is slowed, not cut off, and full speed returns automatically in the next billing period.
- There is a limit on simultaneous devices — 2 / 4 / 8 / 50 depending on the plan. To go beyond it, remove an old device in the app first.
- Encryption is not anonymity. A VPN hides your IP from the destination and shields you from observers on the local network, but the accounts you log into, your browser fingerprint and your cookies can still identify you. Anyone claiming "complete anonymity" is not being straight with you.
We may add, change or discontinue individual features, nodes or routes. Where a change materially reduces the core capability of a plan you have already paid for, we will give notice and allow you to request a pro-rata refund of the unused portion.
3. Eligibility
- You must be 18 or older, or of the age at which you can enter a binding contract where you live; in no case under 13 (or 16 in the EEA, the UK and similar jurisdictions).
- You are responsible for confirming that using an encryption tool is lawful where you are. In some countries VPN use is restricted or requires a licence — complying with local law is your responsibility.
- You must not be located in a comprehensively sanctioned country or listed on an applicable restricted-party list (see §14).
4. Accounts and @handles
Sign-in is handled by our identity provider (Privy): email one-time code, Web3 wallet, Apple ID, Telegram or passkey. One account can have several methods linked.
@handle rules
| Rule | Detail |
|---|---|
| Format | @ plus 3–15 lowercase letters, digits or underscores; case-insensitive; not all digits |
| Default | Generated at sign-up; you can change it to one you prefer |
| Change frequency | Once every 30 days |
| Released handles | Held for 90 days before anyone else can take them, to prevent impersonation |
| Reserved words | admin, official, tpvpn, support, help and confusable variants cannot be registered |
| Share link | tpvpn.com/@yourhandle can be used for referrals; sign-ups through it are attributed to you |
We may reclaim a handle that is used to impersonate someone, imitate our brand, facilitate fraud or otherwise clearly breach the Acceptable Use Policy, and will tell you through your account notification channel.
Account security and sharing
- Accounts are for your own use (Enterprise plans per the seat count in the contract). You may use several of your own devices within the limit, but you must not resell, rent out or share the account with the public.
- You are responsible for keeping your login methods (email, wallet, passkey) secure. If something looks wrong, contact us immediately, remove suspicious devices in the app and reset your WireGuard keys.
- To prevent bulk abuse, we may temporarily block new device registration when we detect abnormal concurrency or rapid switching across distant regions.
5. Plans, subscriptions and auto-renewal
Prices, billing periods and plan capabilities are shown on the pricing page and purchase confirmation. Channel, region, currency and tax may change the displayed amount; the final price shown before you submit controls. The same plan tier provides the same service capabilities.
Subscribe first, then try it for 3 days
Eligible new subscribers first select a plan and confirm the subscription, then receive a 3-day trial. Unless cancelled before the trial ends using the deadline shown on the purchase confirmation, the selected plan is charged on day 4 and renews automatically. Eligibility, local price, period and next charge date are controlled by the Apple App Store, Google Play or website purchase confirmation. See the Subscription Terms.
Auto-renewal
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the period you chose unless cancelled before the next renewal. A trial is not a separate product; it is the first 3-day promotional period of a confirmed subscription.
- Bought on this site: turn auto-renewal off with one click in the "Subscription" page of your dashboard, at any time. Service continues to the end of the paid period. For yearly plans we email a reminder at least 7 days before renewal.
- App Store purchase: renewal and cancellation are managed by Apple. Use iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions and cancel before the next renewal shown by Apple.
- Google Play purchase: use Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions and cancel before the next renewal shown by Google Play.
- Price changes: we give at least 30 days' notice; the new price applies from the next billing period and you may cancel before it takes effect. Store-channel price changes additionally follow Apple's and Google's own confirmation flows.
Redemption codes, discounts and referral rewards
- A redemption code is spent when used: it cannot be reversed, exchanged for cash or reissued.
- Discount codes work only within their stated validity and eligible plans, and do not stack unless we say so.
- Referral rewards require a genuine new user. Self-referral, bulk sign-ups and fabricated attribution void the reward and may lead to account action.
Taxes and chargebacks
- Displayed prices may exclude VAT or sales tax; the amount due is the one shown at checkout.
- Please contact us before filing a chargeback. A chargeback suspends the account until the dispute closes. If you simply want your money back, the Refund Policy is faster and does not interrupt your access.
6. Refunds
Orders placed on this site carry a 7-day, no-questions-asked full refund. Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play must be refunded by that store — we cannot issue those refunds ourselves, but we will help you prepare the request. Full details in the Refund Policy.
Statutory withdrawal rights for EU and UK consumers are unaffected by this section; see the corresponding section of the Refund Policy.
7. Acceptable use
The Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these Terms. In short: no spam, port scanning, DDoS, intrusion, malware distribution, distribution of infringing material, child sexual exploitation material, or anything unlawful under applicable law. Breach leads to throttling, suspension or termination — without notice in serious cases.
We do not inspect tunnel contents. Enforcement therefore relies on third-party complaints, abuse reports forwarded by upstream providers, and content-free metadata anomalies. The AUP explains this in detail.
8. Intellectual property
- The Service, the client software, this website and the TP VPN name and marks belong to us or our licensors. Subject to your compliance with these Terms we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the clients for your personal purposes (or as set out in an Enterprise contract).
- You may not reverse engineer, decompile or circumvent the clients except where applicable law forbids that restriction; you may not remove notices; and you may not use the Service to build a competing product.
- The clients include open source components whose own licences govern those components. The full list and licence texts are in the app under About → Open Source Licences.
- Feedback and suggestions you send us may be used freely, without compensation or attribution.
9. Availability
We work to keep the Service stable and announce planned maintenance 24 hours in advance. However, other than an SLA agreed in an Enterprise contract, we make no specific uptime commitment for consumer plans. Internet routing, upstream data centres and interference in your own network can all cause interruptions, and most of that is outside our control.
Individual nodes may be retired or replaced for compliance, cost or route-quality reasons. If your plan depends on a class of route (such as the premium IEPL routing) and that capability is withdrawn entirely, you may request a pro-rata refund of the unused portion.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for your particular needs.
11. Limitation of liability
- To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption or loss of goodwill.
- Our total aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the greater of: the amount you actually paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 50.
- These limits do not apply to our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, to death or personal injury, or to any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against third-party claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these Terms or the AUP, or from unlawful activity you carry out through the Service. This does not extend to anything caused by our own breach or misconduct.
13. Suspension and termination
- You may leave at any time: turn off auto-renewal and stop using the Service. To erase your data, use account deletion.
- We may suspend or terminate if you breach these Terms or the AUP, on a chargeback, on suspected fraud, or where the law requires it. Except in serious or urgent cases we give notice and a chance to fix the problem first.
- Effect of termination: access stops immediately. Unused prepaid fees are refunded pro rata where we terminate for reasons other than your breach, and are not refunded where termination follows your breach.
- Provisions that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law) continue to apply after termination.
14. Export controls and sanctions
The clients contain encryption technology and are subject to export control law. You represent that you are not located in a comprehensively sanctioned country or region, are not on the U.S. Treasury SDN list, the Commerce Entity List or any other applicable restricted-party list, and will not use the Service for any prohibited end use, including uses related to weapons of mass destruction.
15. Governing law and disputes
- Talk to us first. Email legal@tpvpn.com describing the problem. Most issues end here, and we commit to a substantive reply within 30 days.
- Governing law: these Terms are governed by the law of governing jurisdictionpendiente, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
- Forum: disputes not resolved by discussion go to arbitral institutionpendiente under its rules then in force, in English, seated in governing jurisdictionpendiente; the award is final.
- Consumer carve-out: if you are a consumer, nothing above removes your right under the mandatory law of your habitual residence to bring proceedings in your local courts or to use local dispute resolution mechanisms, including the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
16. General
- Entire agreement: these Terms together with the Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Refund Policy and End User Licence Agreement are the whole agreement between us about the Service.
- Severability: if a provision is held invalid, the rest stays in force.
- Waiver: not enforcing a right on one occasion does not waive it.
- Assignment: you may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in a corporate reorganisation or asset transfer, with prior notice.
- Notices: we contact you at the email linked to your account, by in-app notice, or by posting on this site. Send notices to us at legal@tpvpn.com.
- Languages: these Terms are published in Chinese and English. Both are provided so either audience can read them; where they differ, the version in the official language of governing jurisdictionpendiente prevails, except where consumer law requires the local-language version to govern.
- Changes: material changes are announced by email and in-app 30 days in advance. Continuing to use the Service after they take effect means you accept them; you may instead terminate beforehand and request a refund under the rules above.
